btw earlier today I commented about why to download in extra HQ. And for some reason it went to melodramatic lengths! So I decided to post the text here as well. Perhaps it will inspire you too to download extra HQ version of this release. (named "Hi-Res v2" on Senfgurke2's site)
High res forever!!! ... Since it's future proof. 4k monitors are coming, storage space gets cheaper and internet connection are getting faster. There was time when we all though that 1200px as big as one should go. Then tech got better and cheaper and as result our eyes started demanding more and more.
My oldest scans (not in share since they are worthless) are almost 9 years old. I look at them and barf. How did I possibly think that quality was acceptable?
I have no doubt that decade from now we all will look back to this day with precisely that same feeling. We look back at this day while in front of our wall size PC monitors, with 1GB/s net connection and multiTB usb drive, and think: Those 2GB releases from Senfgurke2 still look pretty damn good.
Because manga is art. And art is eternal.

Not quite what I was expecting. A bit disappointing. and a bit positive surprise by being different.
Scans are not as good as I would like as being a triple volume gives a big spine.
I'm interested in this series xD Along with Gekiga Hyouryuu, I'll edit it ^_^

DeleteThat bad, huh? To be expected because it's an omnibus. I'll download this over the weekend, mainly due to its massive size. I'll take a peek at it then;; Just out of curiosity, how does scan quality compare to Dance in The Vampire Bund and Love Hina?
DeleteI did what I could to the spine but had to stop when pages started to look loose. (not my book you see)

But the printing for doubles was merciless. There are no marginals or spreading the image for those.

Of course there aren't much of double pages percent but this is triple volume so that's still a huge amount of double pages to clean. Especially COLOR doubles would give a cold sweat to anyone thinking of editing.
