  2. Hei, how can I contact you to ask you one or two small questions? Do you have an IRC or something similar?

    1. Only the comments here.
But I do get notice of a new comment in ANY post, so you could post questions to some old post and I can respond to there.
Alternative would be site BakaBT. I visit there... well not often but regularly.

    2. Awesome. Thanks a lot for responding.
I just more or less found your site not long ago. Mind telling me one or two words about your group? Or is it just you? A dozen releaser names fly around in all the series and I am not sure how to sort it. Who the scanner was/is and so on. I take it you scan your series at 600 dpi but also sometimes at 450 dpi? Couldn't find an "About us" where to read all the info up.
Me and others really appreciate the effort and time you put into this. Thank you a lot!

    3. Group started as a response of DC++ not being good enough for sharing scans. As such Random made a forum thread for filehost links instead. Then I (Kickthekitty) came along with questionable photoshop skills for making releases. (Results still readable in Releases page under the name kickthekitty. Oh the horror.)
So 'Random' scans and 'Kickthekitty' edits.
That wasn't anything official until the forum went down. At that point I made a blog for the group and "Random Scans & Kickthekitty" united to one.
The result you can see in the "scans by Random Scans" page. The time of the glory. 600dpi and rescans mania thanks to ridiculously powerful A3 scanner and new faster methods for scanning and editing.

But all things end. Group has now disbanded. This is not new and has happened twice before. But looks like it's this time for good.
I'm still keeping the lights up here and waiting to see if new scanners or editors pop along. As well as keeping the links up.

    4. That's quite the story. It also explains that you have so many releases on the site. I guess you are rescanning some of the older series from time to time now and replacing the old links? Aren't there any other scanner groups you could join?
I am planning to share some of your releases in other places and I wanted to make sure to credit the correct persons for it. Guess your rescans will all go under the name Kickthekitty now. :)
Found this place by senfgurke2, which is inactive now I guess. Sadly, because he wanted to scan Excel Saga which would have been a gigantic thing. But maybe they will all come back at some point.

    5. Sorry. Your comment went to spam for some reason.
Yes, please do share! Feel free to share anything from the site to anywhere you like.
Though please mirror the links if possible.
      As for crediting.. .
Kickthekitty is the name of the group. But if you share stuff from 'RELEASES' or 'Scan releases by other groups' make sure you credit the correct person.

    6. Sorry to hear that the group is pretty much disbanded at this point, doubt another group will ever rival the number of releases you've pumped out, over the years. That said, it'd be nice to have a copy of the entire archive uploaded to madokami. At least there, the threat of files being randomly deleted only comes at the hands of clowns, that don't know what they're doing and not copyright trolls.

  4. Whoever scanned it should use a black piece of paper behind each page, in the future, to prevent bleeding.
